To customize original post publication date, you need to add this following snippet to the end of your active theme’s functions.php file: ``` add_filter( 'wpar/published_date_format', function() { return 'F jS, Y \a\t h:i a'; } ); ``` ### Will it work with my theme? Yes, our plugins work independently of themes you are using. As long as your website is running on WordPress, it will work. ### Are posts duplicated? By default, no. But you can configure it from plugin settings. The date on posts is updated to the current date making a post appear new. URLs don’t change and comments continue to display with the post. ### Doesn’t changing the timestamp affect permalinks that include dates? In fact, the paid version is dead in the water, it does nothing. It worked once or twice and then stopped working completely on all 4 websites I installed it on. The free version seems to do its limited options and even that doesn’t work sometimes. I tried contacting support and never get a response. No way to get help, to make it work or to get a refund. I suggest staying away from this plugin completely. Find other ways to do what you are looking for. John PS He just made an update December 2024 with no different results. It works a little on one site and the social don’t work at all.
